The generous annual contribution followed a charity agreement concluded between Dr Raja Easa Al Gurg, managing director - ESGCF, and Ali Hassan Al Assi, chairman -- LIFC, at the foundation's head office in Dubai in the presence of Mohammed Farooq, executive director of the foundation.
The 'School Bag' drive has been initiated by the Low Income Families Committee (LIFC) under the Dabs in the northern emirate, in collaboration with the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation (ESGCF).
Sultan bin Rashid Al Kharji, Advisor to the Minister of Health and member of the LIFC, said the ESGCF spares no effort to support all the projects and initiatives of the LIFC.
Ali Hassan Al Assi, head of the LIFC in UAQ, said the initiative has seen an effective participation from the community service department of the UAQ Police.
