This also seems indicative of a new mediation strategy that goes beyond the didactically conceived crowd-pleasing blockbusters, long favoured by the MBAM
and MBAC, to festival-based, ambiance-generating events that address a younger demographic.
Following completion of the programme, participants were asked to complete the MBAM questionnaire.
In addition to the statistical analysis of scores on the various scales, a thematic content analysis of the answers to the seven written questions from the MBAM was conducted.
Quantitative feedback from the MBAM indicated that the group was seen as highly relevant, interesting, clear and useful.
Of the 33 people who completed the MBAM, 16 (48%) attended every session and 31 (94%) missed a maximum of one.
