WIRRAL production house Mills Media has completed a series of e-learning films to help carers of people with learning disabilities The firm has produced the films in a contract with the Merseyside and Cheshire Cancer Network (MCCN).
MCCN has created a 12-page care calendar which enables carers to identify serious illness in the learning disabled by tracking or recognising symptoms.
The MCCN says changes would mean improved access to more specialised and better treatments for those who are in need of critical care.
Kathy Doran, MCCN chair and chief executive of NHS Wirral, added: "Whatever option is considered .
An MCCN spokesman said: "In an effort to develop world-class cancer services, the NHS in Merseyside and Cheshire is in the very early stages of reviewing how and where patients who require chemotherapy and radiotherapy might receive their treatment in the future.
"The recommendations from the review will be presented to the MCCN in the autumn.

MCCN chair Steven Parry said: ``This is about promoting the best possible quality of treatment at a few centres, rather that every hospital doing a little bit of everything.
Pat Higgins, MCCN director, said: ``We are at the point where we know where we are going but we haven't yet chosen which centres will be designated.
