The Maternal Cognitions about Infant Sleep Questionnaire (MCISQ) was used to assess parents' thoughts about their limit setting around infant sleep, anger and doubt about infant sleep patterns, the necessity of feeding infants at night, and infant safety around sleep (Morrell, 1999).
High internal consistency was demonstrated by the CESD (0.87 at time 1, 0.85 at time 2 and 0.87 at time 3); the ESS (0.8 at time 1, 0.85 at time 2, and 0.88 at time 3); the DAS (0.83 at time 1, 0.77 at time 2, and 0.8 at time 3); the MAF (time 1 ,0.91, time 2, 0.93 and time 3, 0.93);.and the MCISQ (0.72 at time 1, 0.85 at time 2 and 0.83 at time 3).
