The co-chairman of the MEOS 2017 organizing committee explained the arrangements made for the international show organized by Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM), and Society of Petroleum Engineers in the Kingdom of Bahrain every two years since its inception in 1979.
"Over 300 mega oil and gas companies from 30 countries and a number of experts and specialists will take part in MEOS 2013, a key event aimed at boosting the economy and upgrading the skills of national workforce," he noted.
The functional commanders are entrusted with ensuring that MEOs have been implemented in accordance with the SOW, and the MEO is subject to scrutiny by outside organizations as well.
Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Meos 2013 exhibition was officially inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The programme committee said it hoped that submissions surpass those of MEOS 2013 which attracted 806 papers spanning 174 organisations and 38 countries.
The participants in the (MEOS 2013) highlighted in their statements to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the 30 years passed since the launch of the conference and exhibition "MEOS" reflect the continuity of Kingdom of Bahrain's role as a major participant in the oil and gas industry.
