PwC supports diversity and women's engagement in the work force; currently MEPSI and ACE employ 70 per cent women, with ACE being led by Anke Plock-Girmann, who has more than 10 years of experience in audit and business process outsourcing services with PwC in Germany, the UK and the USA.
Items in the MEPSI are scored on a scale from one to five, with a one being "hardly ever true" and a five being "almost always true." Each stage had five positive and five negative items used to describe successful and unsuccessful resolution of a given stage or crisis.
The IPB was selected for this study because it has more items measuring generativity and higher alpha reliability coefficients than the generativity subscale on the MEPSI. Furthermore, because items within a measure are chosen because they have internal consistency reliability, it may be problematic to use subscales from the same measure as both predictor and criterion variables.
