The Head of MEUSAC Vanni Xuereb explained that what emerges from these consultation meetings will be collected in a report to be presented by the Prime Minister Joseph Muscat with reports from other Member States for consideration European council in December 2018.

In this context the Minister Dalli stressed the importance of hearing those who are disillusioned or irritated with the European Union while assured those present that their views will be included in a final report that will be prepared by MEUSAC
as part of the ongoing process in the European Union.
She compared the role of the EESC on the European level to what MEUSAC does on the local level, whilst praising the way MEUSAC operates in terms of bringing the EU closer to citizens, and for the assistance it provides to NGOs, government entities and local councils in the EU funding application process.
