This pulse-doppler aesa radar is proposed as a Multimission Hemisphere Surveillance Radar (MHSR) as it is capable of detecting rocket, artillery and mortar rounds, establishing the point of origin and the point of impact, direct-attack weapons such as anti-tank missiles and rocket-propelled grenades as well as the typical field surveillance targets that are soldiers on foot and vehicles (the latter two with detection ranges respectively of eight and 20 km).
