The USAMMCE served as the strategic MEDLOG platform for opening the theater and assisted the 6th MLMC
in establishing USAMMCSWA.
When operating at full-capacity, MLMC will divert 160,000 tons of material waste from landfills and produce 120,000 tons of renewable alternative fuel for Missouri's energy-intensive industries.
Mark Andy has started diverting an estimated 26 tons of SRM waste per month (278 tons annually) to the MLMC manufacturing facility to produce the ENVIRO-Fuelcubes.
The commander's working group also recommended that the 6th MLMC establish new standing operating procedures to ensure that it could provide capabilities, such as automation support, contract support, dedicated strategic air support, and in-transit visibility, from the sustainment base to the deployed force.
The MLMC has become the critical link between operational medical logistics units and strategic capabilities managed by the Army Medical Command and the Defense Logistics Agency.
The MLMC also integrates and coordinates strategic medical logistics actions between the theater and the service agencies responsible for medical logistics: the Army Medical Materiel Agency, the Air Force Medical Logistics Office, the Naval Medical Logistics Command, and the Defense Logistics Agency's Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The MLMC provides mapping for class VIII commodity and distribution pipelines and furnishes medical materiel information management data and reports to key organizations.
