14 September 2010 - Swedish telecoms equipment giant Ericsson AB (STO: ERIC B) said today it will provide its new multimedia telephony (MMTel) solution for the fixed network of Norwegian operator Telenor ASA (OSL: TEL) under a frame agreement.
Ericsson's MMTel solution includes an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) core network, an MMTel application server (MTAS) and a data layered architecture (DLA) solution.
As a first step, Nokia Siemens Networks will deploy its IMS system and MMTel
