MSSAA Regional Cheer Tournament will be held on Sunday, March 3.

The MSSAA high school cheerleading season that began in the fall for 65 Division 1 teams culminated March 14 at Wachusett Regional High School with Shepherd Hill placing first, Whitman Hanson Regional High School taking second and Shrewsbury High School finishing third.
They advanced to the MSSAA Central Massachusetts Regional Championship at Leominster High School to compete against Shrewsbury High School, Wachusett Regional High School, Tantasqua Regional High School, North Middlesex Regional High School and Quabbin Regional High School.
With that first-place finish at Leominster High, the team qualified for the 2009
MSSAA Central/West Regional competition.
Gaine made $120,079 from the MIAA for a 40-hour workweek and $18,411 from the
MSSAA and Ms.
Brennan serves as the
MSSAA subcommittee representative to the MASC.
This year, in competition, the football cheer team placed third in the Mid-Wach C tournament, and then advanced to the regional tournament as the top-ranked Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators' Association (
MSSAA) Division 3 team from the Mid-Wach League.
