The training, which is part of the AfCoP project activities, complements the capacity-building actions on Managing for Development Results (MfDR) undertaken by the project at the highest level of African States.
The purpose of training was to teach the Rapid Results Initiatives (RRI), a tool that helps to integrate managing for development results (MfDR) in Regional Member countries, so as to bring change in lives of Africans, in line with the AfDB's High 5 Priorities.
The subsequent High Level Workshop under the aegis of the Chief Secretary increased leadership in conducting the process, as the first pillar of Managing for Development Results
The AfCoP project is a multinational project that aims at mainstreaming managing for development results capacity in regional member countries and economic communities, through the African Community of Practice.
She discussed the status of the 17 participating countries roadmaps in implementing Managing for Development Results.
The Seminar highlighted the development assistance delivered by the CG so far and showcased country experiences on managing for development results
from Cote D Ivoire, Malaysia, and Uganda.
To promote Regional Integration by mainstreaming Managing for Development Results
The grant will enable the African Community of Practice for Managing for Development Results
(AfCoP) to mainstream Managing for Development Results
(MfDR) into the policies and strategies of RMCs and RECs.
Finally, the ADF Board approved a USD 14-million (UA 9 million) grant for capacity building on managing for development results
in the Regional Member Countries (RMCs) and the regional Economic Communities (RECs).
