We describe the Markov chain model of EDCF under saturation condition in Figure 1.
We have developed a computer-implemented, multivariate Markov chain model to project tuberculosis (TB) incidence in the United States from 1980 to 2010 in disaggregated demographic groups.
This study evaluates the performance of IEEE 802.15.6 CSMA/CA procedure in terms of normalized throughput and head of line delay by exploiting the proposed Markov chain model. Our results show that the proposed DTMC model has truly captured the CSMA/CA procedure of IEEE 802.15.6 MAC protocols and has allowed the contending nodes performing backoff to utilize the ACK timeout slot during collisions.
