Generally, in addition to the previous accreditation experiences mentioned in this section, and according to NCACE (2012), accreditation of coaching education should:
Coach education programmes should be focused on the development of appropriate skills, knowledge, and values needed to function as a coach (NCACE, 2012).
Accreditation of coach education encourages individuals, particularly at the volunteer level, to aspire to the qualifications that are appropriate for coaching athletes at all levels of development (NCACE, 2012).

The nominations and election process was discussed with the following names having been submitted for president and secretary: Susan Neufeldt (RMACES/WACES), John Geisler (NCACES), and Alan Goldberg (NARACES) for president; and Stephanie Puleo (SACES), Michael Luce (RMACES), Peg Olson (NCACES), Nelson (WACES), and Gary Goodnough (NARACES) for secretary.
Toni Tollerud presented the report for NCACES. Fall 2000 conference will be held in Indianapolis, IN, October 19-21.
