Chinese biotech company I-Mab Biopharma (I-Mab)and Jiangsu Nhwa Pharmaceutical (Nhwa) on Friday jointly announced the launch of a collaborative research agreement with the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Biodextris to jointly develop a novel immuno-stimulatory therapy for neurologic disorders.
I-Mab and Nhwa will provide financial, technical, regulatory, and business support for the preclinical as well as clinical development, and potentially future commercialisation.

In summary, the efficacy and safety of the generic form of escitalopram (produced by Jiangsu Nhwa Pharmaceutical Corporation Limited) during the first 8 weeks of treatment of a depressive episode are not significantly different from the efficacy and safety of the brand name form of escitalopram (Lexapro, produced by Xi'an Janssen Pharmaceutical when used at a dosage of 10 to 20 mg per day in moderate to severely depressed patients treated in the outpatient departments of psychiatric hospitals in China.
The $40,000 grant NHWA received from the Public Welfare Foundation in Washington, D.C., will go toward NHWA's efforts to educate New Hampshire businesses and the general public about paid sick days.
The funds also will help NHWA increase awareness of the Healthy Families Act, a bill that has been retained in the U.S.
