On multivariate analyses models, age, gender, previous stroke, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, previous myocardial infarction, hypercholesterolemia, permanent or acute atrial fibrillation, prestroke modified Rankin Score, and admission NIHHS were modelled as independent variables while awake/asleep or diurnal time interval were modelled as dependent variables.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: The mean high sensitive C-reactive protein level of stroke patients were 0.541[+ or -]0.03 on admission, 0.972[+ or -]0.20 on the 2nd of admission, 0.899[+ or -]0.20 on the 5th of admission and 0.613[+ or -]0.02 on the 10th day of admission, it was found that high sensitive C-reactive protein level increases after acute ischemic stroke and the higher the high sensitive C-reactive protein levels, worse is the prognosis, in terms of clinical status and outcome as per scandavian stroke scale and the e Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHHS).
The Notification of Installations Handling Hazardous Substances Regulations 1982 (as amended) (NIHHS) requires that anyone who handles or stores (or intends to handle or store) 150 tonnes or more of ammonium nitrate, or of mixtures containing ammonium nitrate where the nitrogen content exceeds 15.75% of the mixture by weight, should notify the HSE.
