"We're honored to be named a winner of the CISA Apex 2010 Rookie of the Year award," said Michael Pytel, NIMBL principal and co-founder.
NIMBL is a nationally recognized industry leading SAP professional services firm focused on high-value high-impact business-driven consulting.
At NIMBL, Pytel instituted a "pay it forward" corporate-wide initiative focused on encouraging employee participation with charitable and nonprofit causes.
NIMBL provides basic computer training for CIIS clients; as a board member for We Don't Waste, Pytef contributes technical expertise to the organization's mission of bringing surplus perishable food--what's left over from a Bronco's game, for example--to community groups and food banks,
Work force: NIMBL has grown from two consultants in 2009 to more than 40 at the end of last year.
Pivotal moment: Eisbart and Pytel launched NIMBL with $2,000.
Growth curve: Despite launching in the midst of the Great Recession, NIMBL increased revenues by 79 percent between 2009 and last year.
PATH TO SUCCESS: As an independent consultant, Eisbart cultivated fruitful relationships with clients such as ExxonMobil and Nestle, now NIMBL clients.
MAKING AN IMPACT: In barely two years, NIMBL has grown from $2,000 in personal investment by the founders to more than 40 consultants.
NIMBL provides the organization with IT services and infrastructure.
Now 30 employees and contractors strong (all with a decade or more of SAP experience), NIMBL has landed numerous top clients and won CSIA's "Rookie of the Year" award earlier in 2010.
IN A NUTSHELL: While SAP, the most widely used business software package on the planet, is dominated by the Big Four, NIMBL is small enough to not be subject to the fiscal constraints of the business model of a big consulting firm, Eisbart says.
