De La Salle University (DLSU, then known as De La Salle College) launched two projects in cooperation with the NMYC and some private foundations and industrial firms: one that aimed to develop career monographs and audiovisual materials (Salazar, 1986) and another that sought to develop a multiaptitude test battery that was patterned after the General Aptitude Test Battery (Salazar, 1977).
There seem to be little regular data/information on enrolment and graduates of the non-formal training providers (mentioned above) except for NMYC (now absorbed under TESDA) member agencies.
In the year 1992/93 NMYC member agencies graduated 624,572 in their various programmes.
Also, organizations such as the ITF in Nigeria, NMYC in the Philippines, and SENATI in Peru, have played a role, encouraged and supported by international and bilateral fund and aid agencies.
