To assess similarity among the chemical compositions of source-specific [PM.sub.2.5] across cities, we compared the proportions of each [PM.sub.2.5] constituent in each source using normalized root mean squared differences (nRMSDs) of the EBSPs, which were normalized by the average range (maximum-minimum) within EBSPs for each source (Marzo 2014).
