[8] The ISHP was put into effect in 2012 to address the problems experienced with the NSHP. It is overseen collaboratively by the National Department of Health (DoH), the Department of Basic Education and the Department of Social Development.
The Social Housing Project (SHP) run by the NSHP is divided into three programmes: one for low income earners, one for the middle-class and another for the affluent, but information about how much funding is dedicated to each part is unclear.
The NSHP offers free and membership-only services such as posting hundreds of current job announcements, profiles of Hispanic business leaders, an active discussion forum about career opportunities, scholarship information, and a listing of nationwide cultural events and conferences of interest to the Hispanic community.
Three key failures characterised the performance of the 2003 NSHP: (i) low service provision coverage across most districts, as measured by coverage of grade 1 health assessments; (ii) suboptimal and inequitable nurse to school ratios; and (iii) the absence of referral services to respond to problems identified through the screening assessments.
In September 2001 the NH90 was declared to be the winner of the three-nation Nordic Standard Helicopter Project (NSHP), with the result that Finland ordered 20, Norway 14 (eight for ASW duties and six for the coastguard role) with an option on ten more and Sweden ordered 18 with an option on a further seven.
Although originally planned as a four-nation program, when the chips fell on the Nordic Standard Helicopter Program (NSHP), Denmark had split from the rest of the pack and chosen the EH101.
We keep coming back because of the pool of highly-qualified bilingual talent, as well as the number of employers in the area that are seeking that talent,” said Ricardo Villalba, Events Manager for NSHP.
"We are returning to Washington, DC in 2011 for two job fairs because it is consistently one of our highest attended and most in demand events on our nationwide calendar," said Ricardo Villalba, Events Manager for NSHP. "We hosted two events in Washington, DC in both 2009 and 2010 and expect to receive the same level of demand and jobseeker success in 2011."
We have had very successful events in Chicago for 4 years, and that made it an easy decision to return in 2011," said Ricardo Villalba, events manager for NSHP.
"We base our schedule on jobseeker and employer demand, and in four previous years we have found Houston to be one of the most successful locations for a career fair because of the high caliber of jobseekers and the high concentration of diversity-conscious employers in Houston," said Ricardo Villalba, events manager for NSHP.
There are so many qualified candidates that come out to our events every spring and fall, and the employers and quality of jobs available in the district never disappoint," said Ricardo Villalba, events manager for NSHP.
"With the ever increasing Hispanic population in the Denver area, and our push to expand the career fair series on the west coast, Denver was at the top of our list of new cities to visit in 2010," said Ricardo Villalba, events manager for NSHP. "There are many skilled, professional Hispanic jobseekers in the Denver area, and there are many diversity-conscious employers who are looking to meet qualified Hispanic and bilingual professionals."
