The programme offers hotels a chance to purchase their own branded web portal that provides guests free entry into both
NYTimes.com and FT.com.
The Today's Paper app is available exclusively to
NYTimes.com digital subscribers and to Times home delivery subscribers who link their account for digital access.
The company has been the target of Chinese hackers in the past and the latest attack led to disrupted sites including
NYTimes.com and corporate site NYTco.com, the report added.
TimesInstant facilitates instant search across
NYTimes.com, while the Smart Search Bar delivers semantically aware search results from the
NYTimes.com homepage.
This means that Kindle subscribers can now access complete online coverage of breaking news, articles, videos, audio clips, multimedia and blogs on
NYTimes.com.
"While the challenges for our company and for the larger economy are not yet behind us, the recent launch of Times digital subscription packages on
NYTimes.com and across other digital platforms brings our plan for a new revenue stream to life," she said.
Full access to
NYTimes.com and both smartphone and tablet applications will be $35 for four weeks.

According to the
NYTimes, the administration of French President Sarkozy and of the Ministry of Interior refused to comment on the document, but have not disputed its authenticity.
The average time spent at
NYTimes.com, for example, fell nearly by half in the month of June year-over-year, according to Nielsen Online.
