Two initiatives have also been undertaken by the Government of Pakistan, known as the National Trade Corridor Improvement Program
(NTCIP) and the Auto Industry Development Program (AIDP) in order to further develop the auto industry in the country.
Highlighting some of the infrastructure projects in which IPDF is providing technical assistance to the concerned implementing agencies, Murtaza Satti said that IPDF has finalised the needs and options report and feasibility study for the Horticulture & Cool Chain Project worth Rs.12 billion, which is part of the overall National Trade Corridor Improvement Program
and which will be launched in the market very soon for private sector participation.
The Second Trade and Transport Facilitation Project will provide technical advisory services to help implement the National Trade Corridor Improvement Program
(NTCIP), a comprehensive Government program designed to significantly cut the cost and time of exporting and importing goods.
