1 July 2011 - Anglo-Swedish AstraZeneca plc (LON: AZN, STO: AZN) said today that NEXIUM (esomeprazole magnesium) 10 mg and 20 mg capsules have obtained approval in Japan for the treatment of acid-related conditions including non-erosive reflux disease (NERD), reflux esophagitis, and peptic ulcer disease (PUD).
This condition is known as NERD (non-erosive reflux disease) or ENRD (endoscopic negative reflux disease).
