Ericsson has joined the Open Data Center Committee (ODCC) in China, while joining the Open Compute Project (OCP) as platinum member, and forming the strategic partnership with Quanta, to drive faster adoption of next generation data center solutions.
Driven by requirements and specifications from main data center technology and solution users in China, such as Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, and other data center solution users, ODCC promotes open data center solutions with significant visibility in the industry.
Through the ODCC membership, OCP platinum membership, and strategic partnership with Quanta, Ericsson will extend its portfolio and introduce electrical server and rack choices in addition to current optical solutions.
