The newspaper reported that the
OFMA and others are studying the impact of Chinese imports on the Canadian wood furniture, leather upholstery and metal dinette industries, to determine whether or not there is enough evidence to file a complaint with the Canadian International Trade Tribunal.
This is a huge impact, considering that the OFMA has only some 50 members today.
"We're facing manufacturers of wood furniture from Asia, and primarily from China, who are flooding the market with low-cost products," said the OFMA's Hanna.
