Newman president Orest Ohar said, "This system was designed as a prototype and versatile testbed for the Radiance [Process.sub.SM] and to demonstrate its ability to operate in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Ohar reports non-financial support from Boehringer Ingelheim; grants from Sunovion for an investigator-initiated clinical study; and personal fees from AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Sunovion, and Novartis for advisory boards.
"Knowledge of work-related hazards and safe work practices is key to identifying and eliminating occupational hazards and the injuries and illnesses that can result from such hazards," said Rosemarie Ohar, OSHA's area director for New Hampshire, who added that the alliance "seeks to equip employers and employees in New Hampshire's automotive sales, repair and service industry with that vital information."
"This alliance will assist OSHA in reaching and providing important occupational safety and health information to New Hampshire's employers, which will help them to better safeguard their employees against on-the-job hazards," said Rosemarie Ohar, director of the federal agency's area office in Concord.
"This employer knows that all excavations five feet or deeper must be protected against collapse, yet failed to do so despite having been cited for the same hazard one month before this latest inspection," said Rosemarie Ohar, OSHA's New Hampshire area director.
