The domain of Ondor abuts directly onto that of Kataloka.
Not surprisingly, Raja Mohammed Saleh Kelilauw of Ondor (who succeeded to the position following his father's retirement to Ambon in 1955) sees things differently.
In 1986 the opening of the fast of Ramadan began one day in Kataloka, the next day in Ondor. While it is true that determination of the beginning of the fast must strictly depend on observations made under local conditions, those of Kataloka and Ondor are identical.
However, trade flourished in the neighbouring domain of Ondor which at that time had two or three shops and in Amarsekaru on nearby Manowoko, which had five or six.
