After the extraction, the leachate samples were filtered through a 0.45 [micro]m borosilicate glass fiber filter and the resultant TCLP (US EpA Test Method 1311) extract (filtrate) was analyzed for heavy metals by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) (TAS-990, Persee General, China) [36].
