In relevant remarks last month, Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters Saeed Mohammad announced that the third phase of the PGSR would be accomplished before the yearend and the fourth phase would be constructed with 100% home-made parts.
Zanganeh said today that the third phase of PGSR, in the city of Bandar Abbas in Southern Province of Hormozgan, will go into full swing in the coming weeks, which will increase the country's gasoline output to over 100 million liters per day.
PGSR, which is described as the Middle East's largest refinery, is built in three phases.
Dadvar said that one of the Iranian knowledge-based companies, namely Supplying Petrochemical Industries Part Equipment and Chemical Engineering Company (SPEC), has assisted the PGSR with production of all catalysts needed in the refinery for making gasoline.
