The US$30 million grant will directly leverage another donor financing in the amount of approximately US$45 million through the Palestinian Reform and Development Plan (PRDP) Trust Fund.
WASHINGTON, May 22, 2018 (WAFA) -- The World Bank has transferred an amount of about $10.5 million to the Palestinian Authority from the Palestinian Reform and Development Plan Trust Fund (PRDP-MDTF), a multi-donor budget support mechanism administered by the Bank.

Washington, Dec.25(BNA): The World Bank announced that it transferred an additional amount of US$22 million to the Palestinian Authority from the Palestinian Reform and Development Plan Trust Fund (PRDP-MDTF), a multi-donor budget support mechanism administered by the Bank.
In addition, it has administered nearly US$1 billion from other donors through the Palestinian Reform and Development Plan Multi-Donor Trust Fund since 2008.

The paper reported that the French aid is in support of Palestinian Premier Salam Fayyad's Palestinian Reform and Development Plan, which aims towards the unilateral announcement of a Palestinian state in 2011.
These efforts are all part of the Palestinian Reform and Development Plan 2008-2010 (PRDP), developed by the Palestinian government and with the support of the World Bank and the British Department for International Development (DFID).
This request is backed by a strong, credible and costly three-year strategic framework in the form of the Palestinian Reform and Development Plan, which has been endorsed by the boards of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
