In this study, post chemo radiation complete clinical response was found in 6.6%, partial response was found in 50.8%, stable disease was found in 21.3% and progressive disease was found in 21.3% which were very much comparable to the international studies14 (figure).
Among these, 9 had satisfactory response and four had partial response. Six patients (13.9%) with partial response and 24 patients (55.8%) of therapeutic failure showed late changes of biliary atresia.
At 48 weeks after 50 mg full-dose sunitinib treatment (4 weeks' treatment followed by 2 weeks' rest), 6 of the 18 (33%) lesions showed partial response, 10 (56%) showed stable disease and 2 (11%) showed progressive disease.
Responses in patients with measurable disease were evaluated based on the RECIST (Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors) criteria and confirmed four to six weeks after the first documentation of a complete or partial response. In addition, anti-tumor activity was evaluated based on a sustained PSA decline of at least 50 percent confirmed by two separate measurements at least four weeks apart.
Noting that the registration proposal was a partial response to the high error rates associated with Earned Income Tax Credit claims and consumer protection concerns with refund anticipation loans, the AICPA instead recommended enacting legislation that directly attacks the fraud, negligence and abuses committed by some preparers with respect to the EITC.
Overall, 70% of 29 fully evaluated treatments produced either a complete or partial response, where a complete response was defined as a 60% or greater reduction in pain and a partial response was a 33% reduction in pain.

Simple parity schemes have been replaced by complex algorithms, including Partial Response Maximum Likelihood (PRML), to make intelligent decisions on what the recorded content really should be.
