Despite the PointCast Network's constant expansion, Edelin explained that the company's aims and its target audience.
"Since the launch of the PointCast Network in February of 1996," explained Edelin, "the service has redefined the concept of news and information in the workplace.

Corporations can also use this tool to create SmartScreens and high-impact commercials to run on their internal company channel on the PointCast Network.

PointCast also offers the PointCast I-Server product, which extends the power of the PointCast Network to corporate intranets.
