Based in our Vermont office, and recently honored as one of 30 Clean Water Heroes by the national Clean Water Network, the 33-year-old Moore comes to CLF after five years as Executive Director of Illinois' only statewide river advocacy group--the Prairie Rivers Network.
I started working part-time for the precursor to Prairie Rivers Network. After becoming Executive Director in 1997, I focused on advocacy for improved enforcement of the Clean Water Act (CWA), working closely with CLF's Midwest counterpart--the Environmental Law and Policy Center.
