Some of the most severely injured servicemen from the 1982 Falklands conflict attended - and for many it was the first chance in 26 years to meet with the Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service (Qarnns) personnel that cared for them.
"We need people who are talented and dedicated with potential leadership skills," says Lieutenant Steve Spencer, directorate of naval recruiting for the Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service (QARNNS).
Although QARNNS currently has only 253 nurses, of whom 71 are officers, new recruits are always needed to ensure the best medical care for the Navy and Royal Marines.
