En la evaluacion macroscopica de las roscas de los clavos intramedulares de las tibias tratadas y control, a los ocho dias de la evaluacion, no hubo adherencia de tejido sobre su superficie, permitiendo la visibilidad de las mismas, teniendo el clavo su color caracteristico.
A los 30, 60, 90 y 120 dias de evaluacion posteriores a las cirugias en 75% de las roscas de los clavos del grupo tratado y control se observo presencia de tejido con caracteristicas de tejido medular de coloracion rojisa amarillenta, que impedia ver el fondo de la misma y parcialmente su superficie, sugiriendo una posible adherencia de tejido.
Aunque las roscas (Figura 4) no presentan una uniformidad en cuanto a su tipo, se considera que la falla de los tornillos no es ocasionada por el tipo o acabado de la rosca.
