According to the RPSGB, more than 40 wellknown medicines for chronic conditions are in short supply, with pharmacists reporting notable shortages.

But a survey, commissioned by RPSGB, found 73 per cent of people who experience these symptoms don't seek medical advice before selecting a treatment.
The findings were presented this week at a symposium hosted by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB).
