In Davao del Norte, disaster authorities are closely monitoring the Saug
and Liboganon Rivers for possible flooding, which could threaten low-lying and rice-producing towns of Kapalong, Carmen, Asuncion and New Corella.
Continuous rains brought by the LPA reportedly caused the water level of Saug
river in Asuncion and Manat river in Nabunturan to rise.

The local government unit (LGU) in the town of Kapalong is already implementing preemptive evacuation while a portion of Barangay Canatan in Asuncion town is already under water due to the swelling of Saug
