"Both myself and leading appeal advocate Claire Mitchell thought it was important as that as we start to build our application for the
SCCRC that we take the important step of visiting Orkney.
In 2014, the
SCCRC's 200-page report ruled out referring Mitchell's case back to the Court of Criminal Appeal, maintaining he would have been found guilty on the evidence presented at trial.
