The smart services, which have been launched in an attempt to enhance the tourism experience in Sharjah, were unveiled as the SCTDA began its active participation in the 35th edition of Gitex Technology Week 2015 in Dubai.
Those present included Vitaly Korovkin, head of the Department of International Cooperation at the Federal Agency of Russia Tourism, who also met and held talks with Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, director-general of the SCTDA.

High-level representatives from 12 government and private organizations are also joining the SCTDA team to put the spotlight on their world-class tourism and cultural services and initiatives.
The workshop targets SCTDA employees and the public.
SCTDA reported a massive 70 per cent occupancy rate from January to June this year.
