SDPW, pointed out that the gardens come within the framework of
SDPW's development plan to meet the needs of municipal councils.
Chairman of
SDPW, Eng Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, said the development was part of
SDPW's plans to increase green areas, parks, and recreational spaces in Sharjah.
Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, the chairman of
SDPW, said this come in line with the directives of HH Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to build several model mosques that are inspired by the Islamic style and compatible with the urban development of Sharjah.
Additionally, the negative coefficient of
SDPW reflects that the variation of PW over a road segment has a negative impact on speed.
A top official at the
SDPW said the flag will be standing as high as the one in Abu Dhabi.
Head of
SDPW's design team, Eng Alaa Salem Al Jarwan, said the construction order had been issued to the contractor.

The expansion work on the road, that has cost a total of Dh11.3 million, has just been completed as part of the roads development project, being carried out by the
SDPW. The project under the directives of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, aims at enhancing the infrastructure and ensuring high quality standard of life for its residents.
Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, chairman of
SDPW, said that the department, in coordination with the Sharjah Municipality, has worked on studying the situation of sewage stations and expanding developmental proposals that contribute to providing the best infrastructure in the sewage sector.
