SEASPAR offers year-round recreation programming for all ages and all disabilities, including weekly social, artistic and fitness programs; special events and trips; Special Olympics athlete training; adapted sports; the Wonders Multi-Sensory Room; the EAGLES adult day program; the Home Front Health program for veterans with disabilities; and more.

SEASPAR's administrative offices have always been provided in cooperation with the Downers Grove Park District and for the past 15 years have been at the Recreation Center on Belmont Road.

For decades, SEASPAR has been supported by many Downers Grove organizations, including the Rotary Club, Junior Women's Club, Knights of Columbus chapters, Grove Foundation and Thumbuddy Special, just to name a few.
Many annual fundraisers for SEASPAR take place in Downers Grove, including a nine-hole golf event at the Downers Grove Golf Club, benefit concert at Tivoli Theatre, and Walk and Roll-A-Thon at Ebersold Park.
SEASPAR uses locations throughout Downers Grove to house a variety of programs.
SEASPAR also uses non-park district facilities, including its longest-running annual event, a swim meet, which has always taken place at Downers Grove North or South high schools.
SEASPAR also has partnered with Downers Grove government organizations to support programming.

The South East Association for Special Parks And Recreation (SEASPAR) provides dynamic recreation programs and quality services for individuals with disabilities served by the park districts of Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, La Grange, La Grange Park, Lemont, Lisle, Westmont, and Woodridge, and the villages of Brookfield, Indian Head Park, and Western Springs.
