Karen's role will be to support the other SOFHT Directors on technical advice in order to help share best practice across the entire food chain via the training, information and guidance available to the Society's members.
Unlike other Level 4 food safety training courses where modules are taken consecutively, often meaning senior staff are off-site for up to a week, modules in SOFHT's 5-day food hygiene course will be run one day a month over five consecutive months, (40 guided-learning hours).
SOFHT also recognised RSSL's wider support for the food industry by short listing the company in the category of Company of the Year with more than 100 employees.

The Society of Food Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT) wants more technical managers to join its ranks and has introduced an accessible membership package known as High 5 that entitles five technical people in any one organisation to join at a reduced rate.
