Stepwise multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the association between dependent variables cannabis use and problem gambling (scores on the SOGS-RA) and independent variables age, daily and weekly cigarette consumption, and daily and weekly beer, wine, and spirits consumption.
Regarding the predictors of scores obtained with the SOGS-RA, the regression model explained a lower percentage of variance (7%) with three significant variables: higher levels of weekly beer consumption (beta= 0.26; [GAMMA]= 108.98, p< 0.001), higher levels of weekly wine consumption (beta= 0.05; F= 56.94, p< 0.001) and higher levels of daily cigarette consumption (beta= 0.05; F= 39.58, p< 0.001).

Se utilizo el analisis de regresion lineal multiple por pasos para examinar la asociacion entre las variables dependientes uso de cannabis y juego problema (puntuaciones en el SOGS-RA) y las variables independientes edad y consumo diario y semanal de cigarrillos, y consumo diario y semanal de cerveza, vino y licores.
En cuanto a los predictores de las puntuaciones obtenidas con el SOGS-RA, el modelo de regresion explico un porcentaje de varianza mas bajo (7%) con tres variables significativas: niveles mas altos de consumo semanal de cerveza (beta= 0,26; F= 108,98, p< 0,001), niveles mas altos de consumo semanal de vino (beta= 0,05; F= 56,94, p< 0,001) y niveles mas altos de consumo diario de cigarrillos (beta= 0,05; F= 39,58, p< 0,001).
