Hybrids and purelines, as genotypic classes, showed significantly different responses to environmental variation in the SRPN in 1994 and 1995 and SVT in 1993 and 1994.
Mean yield of hybrid wheats significantly exceeded the pureline mean yield in 1991 through 1995 SRPN, ranging from a 0.22 Mg [ha.sup.-1] advantage in 1991 to 0.46 Mg [ha.sup.-1] advantage in 1994 (Table 3).
