Massa was nominated by JCI in Syria for participating in TOYP
competition for 2017 besides 209 participants from different countries to be selected among the ten most distinguished youths in the world and win the first place in the category of "supporting children, world peace and human rights" in recognition of her efforts in artistic creativity to serve children and peace.
The JCI TOYP
is a program that honors 10 outstanding young people under 40 years old who exemplify the spirit of the JCI Mission and provide extraordinary service to their communities.
The two join 15 Filipinos who have been recognized by the TOYP in its 30 years of existence, including the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo, social entrepreneur Illac Diaz, and ballerina Lisa Macuja.
Aquino and Salvana had been named one of The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) in 2010 sponsored by the Philippine Jaycees, which went on to submit their names to the Junior Chamber International for consideration for the TOYP.
