The SAE, TSPE, NPE, and OPE all showed higher viscosities above and below the 0.5% use level initially; at one week aging, the NPE showed decreasing viscosity with increasing NPE, though the effect was beginning to level off at 2.5%.
Pseudoplasticity decreased in the order: standard (no surfactant) [greater than] OPE [greater than] SAE [greater than] NPE [greater than] TSPE.
