UANJ voiced its "strenuous" objections to "unjustified unilateral commission reductions." The association also objects to "insurance companies rescinding unilaterally contractual binding authority because this is strong evidence to the independent Insurance Agents of New Jersey that a breach of confidence and contract exists in the American Agency System "The resolution also urges the companies "to reassess their commitment to the independent insurance Agents of New Jersey and the insuring buying public."
