Harris has released a range of transmitters in the Maxiva
UAX Compact Class series, designed for terrestrial broadcast needs.
The new manufacturing facility, located in Campinas, a region 80 miles northwest of Sao Paulo, will produce Harris Maxiva
UAX air-cooled solid-state transmitters for distribution to broadcasters across Brazil, as well as throughout Mercosur (the Common Market of the South) and other Latin American countries.

UAX), a provider of Fixed-Wireless Internet access products, including Quick-Cell, has introduced its Wireless Internet access service that will compete directly against the popular digital-subscriber line (DSL) technology, as well as cable modem technology.
The transmitters being used are the Maxiva
UAX air-cooled UHF transmitters.
At the BIRTV exhibition in Beijing, China, last year, the Maxiva
UAX air-cooled UHF TV transmitter was awarded 'outstanding broadcast product' in the 'Radio and Television Transmission and Delivery' category.
Its Nexio Volt integrated storage server and the Maxiva
UAX air-cooled 1kW transmitter received the awards for Outstanding Product in the Video and Broadcast Production, and the Radio and Television Transmission and Delivery categories, respectively.
