In a search of more than 100 curated specimens, three individuals of the Cretaceous brachiopod, Waconella wacoensis, from the Albian Duck Creek Formation have been found in the collections of the University of California Museum of Paleontology (UCMP) that have examples of Podichnus centrifugalis on them.
Specimens of Waconella wacoensis are from UCMP localities A-5207 and A-5050.
