With the exception of the last function, the UFIS integrated system provides modules designed to help AOCC specialists to do these jobs effectively and efficiently, Our Flight Information Processing System (FIPS) supports airport operations by enabling the user to manage their flight schedules and to process incoming flight information changes in a real-time setting.

Exhibiting for the first time at the renowned Inter Airport Europe exhibition at Munich in mid-October, UFIS Airport Solutions was able to announce that it had begun an upgrade of its Universal Flight Information System (UFIS) at Shanghai International Airport.
Its installation includes the UFIS core applications Airport Operational Database (AODB), Flight Information Management and Resource Management: the latter tool will allow the airport to plan and manage gate positions and check-in counters allocation.
One of the major upgrades is the introduction of IBM's WebSphere MQ as the integration and communication platform within UFIS. This enables the integration of external systems through adapters available for many standard systems and products.
